SIO VEGAS 2011
What a crazy weekend this was that I’m going to try to fit into one post. Primed stayed at the Planet Hotel and that’s where we practically stayed the entire Friday. Let’s just say I wasn’t myself Friday night. I was Penguyen. Had Aria Buffet that night, and couldn’t sleep until like 3AM because I kept waking up in the middle of the night.
Saturday morning, was SIO day. Arrived there early because HOB had to tech and our drivers were on it. PD finally teched, and then we ate, got back to the Cashmen Center, and practiced, changed, watched the show, and finally performed.
Despite the technical and costume difficulties, we still managed to pull through and I thought we did an awesome job. Maxt Out 2011 here we come !
Congrats to all of the winners, especially my beautiful children The Organization. When I heard your guys’ name called up, I got so extremely dizzy. Two years. Two longgg years, I’ve waited for this moment for Org/HHA ever since I had joined the team, and I’m so happy to have been able to witness it live. I’ve seen Org grow from practicing in an underground structure, in middle school courtyards, and garages to now having a studio. What a transformation you guys have gone through. You guys freaking deserve it, with all of my heart. Words can’t even describe how proud I am of you guys.
After competition, PD went back to the hotel, the rest of the night was history, and the next morning we had to go home. We ate M buffet which was hella bomb btw, and then all of us were on our way back. Time to recoverrr. Thank you PD and Vegas for the memories.
